Our efforts encompass arranging community gatherings with service animals, cultivating a nurturing atmosphere, and providing solace to those who are grieving.
The grieving families we assist struggling with the devastating loss of a loved one after an unresolved homicide or missing loved one, do not have money for investigators, treatment or therapy from a mental health professional. 100% of funds raised go directly to supporting those affected. Your contributions directly support grief assistance, trauma therapy, bereavement resources and resolution for the families enduring these unimaginable hardships and uncertainty that accompanies such tragedies during their darkest times.

Houston's Crime Lab
Twenty years ago, the Houston Crime Lab was considered one of the worst forensic crime facilities in the country. Of the 179 Texans exonerated since 1993, 115 were in Harris County due to flawed or misleading evidence.
The FBI listed nearly 340,000 nationwide cases of homicide and non-negligent manslaughter that went unsolved from 1965 to 2021. FPI Justice for Victims Families, based in Texas, is deeply concerned about the current state of affairs because the harrowing nature of these murders is most pronounced in Texas. Texas is grappling with an alarming count of approximately 20,072 unsolved homicides, leaving a trail of shattered lives and fractured communities. Regrettably, this trend not only produces emotional distress but also immortalize a climate of fear and vulnerability among the public. The absence of closure and accountability in these cases worsens these sentiments. It also erodes public confidence in both law enforcement and the justice system.
In Texas, there exists a distressing number of unsolved homicides, particularly in marginalized communities. Due to various social, economic, and cultural barriers, these homicides often go unreported, uninvestigated, or overlooked, leading to a lack of closure and justice for the victims and their families. Moreover, children in these communities bear a heavy emotional burden, often experiencing trauma and grief without adequate support systems in place.

justice for victims FAMILIES
FPI Justice is dedicated to supporting agencies that offer essential mental health and grief support services to survivors of homicide victims. We recognize that there are diverse types of agencies providing mental health and grief support, as grief itself is as unique as a fingerprint, and one-size-fits-all solutions do not suffice. Unfortunately, not all systems provide access to resources that fully comprehend the traumatizing nature of grief and the challenges survivors face in dealing with uncertainty after a loss. Our primary focus revolves around promoting mental health, offering grief support, and advocating for social justice.
FPI Justice has researched organizations throughout the Texas area who offer support groups to help young people and their families through the grieving process. The groups help us provide much-needed guidance and encouragement while enabling families to connect with others who have experienced similar tragedy.

Murdered in home bound like statues in indoor pool!
Police assumed right away that it was a murder-suicide and missed alot of evidence because of that assumption. People who were in the house (maids etc) were never fingerprinted. Friends and family who were in the house were never interviewed.

The San Francisco Boogeyman: Fingerprints
Normally, travelers are suspicious of germs in hotel rooms, and they should be. The most dangerous creatures might actually be hiding under the bed. Our witness has stumbled upon maybe two murders. In one of the rooms he was checked into, dusted fingerprints were left on the door. WTF! Did they just check him into the room of a recent crime scene?
